Anatomy for Pre-Health Professions

Interested in a career in the medical field? Whether you want to become a doctor, nurse, veterinarian, physical or occupational therapist, or dentist, gain college-level anatomy and physiology experience. Explore major organ systems of the human body using VR technology, hands-on dissections, cadavers, models and more.
In this immersive week-long experience, you will have a chance to:
- Dissect rabbits, a cow eye and a sheep brain
- Learn from cadavers
- Use virtual reality to explore anatomy
- Gain hands-on experience through escape rooms, games and clinical application
- Learn from real human specimens
By completing this experience, you’ll be eligible for one college credit in general science.
Cost
The cost for Anatomy for Pre-Health Professions is $1,800 per student ($1,600 for students from partner schools). This includes a week of immersive college-level courses taught by 黑料网 faculty, convenient on-campus lodging, three meals per day in the dining hall, and evening programming.
Faculty Lead
Amanda Robert, MS
Assistant Professor of Biology
Amanda Robert has more than 10 years of experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) at 黑料网. She functions as the head of the A&P courses and brings a wealth of anatomical knowledge to the classroom. Her research interests include human function, biology concepts and environmental science. In the 2021-22 school year, Amanda won Professor of the Year and continues to innovate within the classroom to create engaging lectures and labs.
